Places we’ll visit Santa Rosa Creek Trail, Laguna de Santa Rosa wetlands, Joe Rodota Trail.
Start downtown Santa Rosa on Prince Memorial Greenway and ride Santa Rosa Creek Trail to Sebastopol.
We’ll stop at Laguna de Santa Rosa wetlands for a pit stop to learn about the many benefits of wetlands.
The trip will return on Joe Rodota bike path. We emphasize local immersion to learn about creek history, flora, and fauna.
What to Bring
Your ride will be divided into achievable segments with several stops at viewpoints, parks, and picturesque wetlands with vineyard views. The trip will focus on cycling paved trails to learn about creek history, flora, and fauna.
During your tour, we take care of all the logistics, so you can enjoy the freedom of exploring the landscape at your own pace. Naturalist guides offer information about the local ecology, wildlife, and a historical perspective of the thriving culture that attracted inhabitants by its temperate climate, rich soil, abundant timber, and agricultural resources.

On this bike tour you’ll learn about the cultural and natural history of West Sonoma County. Including pastural landscapes, relic farms, and wildlife viewing that includes learning about unique habitats in the West County.

Places we’ll visit Ragle Ranch Park, artisanal shops in Sebastopol, apple orchards, and Russian River Brewing.
We’ll meet at Prince Gateway Park and ride out of town on the Joe Rodota Trail where the fertile soils of West Sonoma County present a landscape of agricultural heritage.
We’ll learn about the seasonal wetland, and have fun adventuring in this section of the Atascadero/Green Valley watershed.
From here we will ride the West County Regional Trail, taking in views of farms, pastures, and vineyards. Just north of Graton, a section of trail becomes an elevated boardwalk to pass through the Atascadero Creek Ecological Reserve, an ecologically important wetland.
We’ll skirt stunning landscapes and rich wine culture. Offering a personalized and memorable way to experience the beauty and culture of West Sonoma County by ebike.
